Organogram

OCPASS follows a team-based research structure that organizes professionals into collaborative groups to pursue common research objectives, thereby ensuring efficiency and coherence in output. OCPASS is a self-governed institute affiliated with the Armed Forces, formed under the Office of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC) and registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 (Act XXI of 1860). The management and control of the Foundation’s affairs are conducted in accordance with its rules and regulations, as well as any bylaws or directives framed by the Governing Body (Executive Body) from time to time.

General Body of the Foundation / Board of Trustees
The OCPASS General Body (Board of Trustees) consists of all general members of the Foundation. The President of the OCPASS Foundation is elected at the Annual General Meeting for a term of three (03) years.

Governing Body
The Governing Body includes a Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, and Executive Director, who are responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of OCPASS. The tenure of the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, and Executive Director is three (03) years, with the option to seek re-election upon completion of each term.

General Members
General Members comprise individuals from the serving and retired military community, as well as retired civil officials, academics, journalists, members of civil society, and legal experts. The General Members elect one among them as the Chairman of the Governing Body. The Chairman is responsible for the day-to-day decision-making of the Governing Body and oversees the routine management of the Foundation. The tenure of the Governing Body is three (03) years.

Research Directors
OCPASS research activities are led by Research Directors. The Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, and Executive Directors also serve as Research Directors, each heading a specific research area or theme, namely:

a. Geo-Politics, Geo-Economics and Geo-Strategic Studies.
b. National Defence and Security Studies.
c. Cyber Space and Information Warfare Studies.
d. International Instruments and Legal Studies.
e. Peace, Conflict and Negotiation Studies.
f. Regional and Neighbourhood Studies.
g. Maritime Studies and Blue Economy.
h. Air Power and Aerospace Studies.
i. Environmental (Climate), Gender and Human Rights Studies.

Overseas Chapters
In the future, OCPASS intends to establish Overseas Chapters focusing on research areas of specific significance.
