Visit of International Conflict Management Experts

Visit of International Conflict Management Experts

Two Architects of Peace Visit Osmani Centre.

It was a privilege to host Mr. Roelof Meyer and Mr. Mohammed Bhabha, two distinguished South African negotiators and conflict-management experts, during their recent visit to the Osmani Centre for Peace and Security Studies (OCPASS), the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), and the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).

At DSCSC and BUP, they shared profound insights on conflict resolution, negotiation, and the pursuit of sustainable peace, inspiring audiences of officers, scholars, and students alike.

Later, at OCPASS, they engaged in a separate in-depth session on conflict management and transitional dialogue, where their experiences in South Africa’s constitutional transformation and global peacebuilding offered invaluable lessons for South Asia’s evolving security landscape. The discussion was insightful, interactive, and deeply rewarding for all participants.

OCPASS gratefully acknowledges the generous support and coordination of the UK-based think tank Inter/Mediate.
