The Osmani Centre for Peace and Security Studies (OCPASS) Foundation held its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 13 July 2026 at the Centre's premises. The meeting was chaired by Lt Gen Md Mainur Rahman, OSP, SUP, awc, psc, the Chief of General Staff, Bangladesh Army, and attended by members of the foundation's General Body.

The AGM marked an important milestone for OCPASS as the Centre's first Annual General Meeting since its establishment on 02 May 2025. During the meeting, the General Body unanimously elected Lt Gen Md Mainur Rahman, OSP, SUP, awc, psc, the Chief of General Staff, Bangladesh Army, as President of the Foundation. The meeting also approved the Centre's budget for the 2026-27 financial year and elected the Governing Body. Members reviewed and resolved several administrative matters concerning the Centre's future activities and governance.

In his remarks, the Chief of General Staff reaffirmed his strong support for OCPASS and his commitment to the Centre's continued growth and effective functioning. The meeting concluded positively, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening the Centre's intellectual discourse and institutional development.
